Source of the data

Navalyze is a free, independent initiative. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of the European Commission or the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA). All figures are derived from the public emission reports that EMSA publishes in THETIS-MRV under Article 21 of Regulation (EU) 2015/757. That data is entered by shipping companies and confirmed by accredited verifiers; Navalyze does not collect, change or verify it.

What the figures are

Navalyze reorganises the published data and computes benchmarks, comparisons and estimates from it, as described in the methodology. Company groups are matched on company names and known ownership and may contain errors. Benchmarks compare reported annual figures; they do not take account of trade, routing, weather, cargo or other operating conditions, and are not a rating or judgement of any company, ship or verifier.

EU ETS figures are estimates based on the published data and an allowance price you choose. They are not the allowances any company actually surrenders.

No warranty

The information is provided "as is", for general information only, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness or timeliness. EMSA updates its files when reports are amended, so figures here may differ from the latest EMSA data until the next refresh. Nothing on this site is commercial, chartering, investment, legal or regulatory advice. Check the original EMSA data before relying on any figure, and use the site at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, Navalyze accepts no liability for any loss or decision arising from its use.

Corrections

If you believe a figure, a company group or a ship's details are wrong, write to info@navalyze.com. We will check it against the EMSA data and correct any error promptly. Errors in the reported data itself can only be corrected by the reporting company through THETIS-MRV.
